"Death comes as the End", this is the most famous phrase that we live with. But is it really that way? Does everything really come to an end? Does everything wither off with the word DEATH? Is Death the only truth of Life? Or is it vice versa? Is Death just the beginning of yet another Life?
It is rightly said that there is nothing as intriguing as Death. In plain and simple medical terms, death is the end of all the biological functions of a living organism. It could be either the breakdown of the functions of the heart, the brain or both. But is that the reigning fact of Death? How can we not think for a second that there no life after Death.
This is as vast as it can be, but on a very general note, there are views that death is actually the death of the body and not of the soul. The body becomes a part of this universe and it returns to the original elements of which we are made. The whole concept of Life after Death was termed as reincarnation. Some state that the soul is immortal whereas some believe that death is the preservation of the 'essence' of that being or being born in some other form.
This has been the most studied about topic by most scientists. But there hasn't been any concrete proof for this. Merely on the basis of scientific knowledge, we can neither affirm that there is a life after death nor deny it. It all goes much beyond science. It is deeper and more mystical than we thought it to be. Death has never been what we imagined it to be.
We live our lives in denial, as if we are never going to encounter death. But the ironic part is that sooner or later Death comes to all. Death can never be universal. It is different for all. Some have a troubled end whereas some wither in peace. But we cannot coin that process as Death. No one knows what the end of one life leads. Maybe it leads to nothing or maybe it is a whole new birth, a whole new life in a new body around different things. But what constant remains according to this concept is our soul. Is that really possible?
Whatever concept or theories are discovered by the scientists or the psychologists, your life is not in your own hands. The departure time of this life is nearing every second. The point is that at sometime your life is going to come to an end. The only thing that is guaranteed is that one day you will depart this life as we know it. No matter which religion or lifestyle you follow you still have no guarantees as to how long you will live this life.
So what do you think is more vital? Making this life more fruitful or think about the eternity you experience after death or yet another life after your end? Can't we achieve eternal peace and happiness in this life? It is much more important to value your present & live it to the fullest than to think about the end of this life & the beginning of the next, to which we don't have a guarantee too.
Death is something which you believe in, only when you experience it; otherwise you do not. The only way you could get the answer to the query, is to actually die. But do any of us want to find this answer by this way? NO. So live your life to the fullest & don't let your Death surpass the importance of the joys & merries of your life. - 30438
